In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about pentecost. She compares the passing of Elijiah’s mantle to Elisha to the mantle passing that took place when Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit. The beautiful thing about the mantle is that it is much bigger than the one it’s being passed to. The mantle brings weight. It brings power and authority. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of hanging on to the words that God says over you. Throughout our lives God speaks in different ways. We can hear His voice in times of prayer, through a prophetic word or through holy moments of basking in His presence. Whatever way He speaks to you, write it down. Hold on to it. Keep believing for it. God will ALWAYS bring to pass what He says He will do if we choose to believe it and continue to walk it out in faith. Often times our circumstances will try to speak a louder word, but God's word is the standard. If He says healing is ours, then we can expect healing. If He says restoration is coming, then we can expect to witness that restoration. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about how we can partner with God’s desire to perform miracles on our behalf. It’s important for us to be positioned to receive what He has. We can be positioned in our lives with people and in our proximity to the presence of God. We can also position our hearts to be ready and expectant. We also can be prepared to go on assignment. She uses the example of Mauna Kea in Hawaii. The mountain is nearly 33,000 ft tall. But nearly 18,900 ft is below sea level. The bulk of what is technically the tallest mountain on planet earth is hidden. In the same way, God desires for our inner man to go down deep. In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of our Spiritual Intelligence. We’ve heard of IQ (Intelligence Quotient), which is used to gauge how well someone can use information and logic to answer questions or make predictions. We’ve maybe even heard of our EQ (Emotional Quotient), which shows the ability to understand, use, and manage your own emotions in positive ways to relieve stress, communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges and defuse conflict. But what about our SQ (Spiritual Quotient) or Spiritual Intelligence? It is our spiritual capacity for brilliance which comes from our having the mind of Christ granting us access to divine thinking.
