Radio Power Weekend

We play a bunch of cartoon theme songs and get a few requests. Dan is so tired he can't say words.

Matt can't do math because he can't see through metal. Conversation about movie trailers that completely give away the plot of the movie.

So far, ALL MUSIC ALL DA' TIME EH'. Playing a sampling of music being played on WTHS 89.9 (Hope College), it turns out they have really good taste in music. William Shatner and Leonard Nemoy show up.

A large block of seriously good classic rock music (probably got some requests from parents). We also tap into some serious Alice's Restaurant.

Matt takes over after the Ambien(t) hour, falls asleep after saying a bunch of really stupid stuff, and Dan takes over for a while.

Harvey and Will play their second Ambien(t) Hour, this time they play more post-rock and Dark Side of the Moon.

Matt plays some of his favorite songs wile actually falling asleep.

Doofer and The Goof take over and play their "Rock and Roll Around the Alphabet," where they play some of their favorite songs from A to Z.

Matt reads a book titled "I am a T-rex," based on the show by Craig Bartlett, and later (by request) reads a poem called "I Like You" by Sandol Stoddard Warburg.

Harvey and Matt play some of the longest progressive rock tracks ever recorded. The listeners really liked this segment, hopefully you will too.

We play 2112, later (at the end of the segment) we tell really terrible jokes.

Matt and Harvey have a heated discussion on Nature vs. Nurture involving Schrödinger's dog, The Matrix, Johnnie Walker Blue, and natural selection. Also, we decide to play Rush's 2112 when we get to 21 hours and 12 minutes of radio playtime. It's going to be good.

Matt talks about lack of sleep and people talk about other times they've stayed awake for long periods of time.
