UTO - Infiné Music ‘When all you want to do is be the fire part of fire’… say it to yourself and then say it again. Repeat it like a mantra. It’s what UTO did. Anyone familiar with the UTO’s lauded 2022 debut ‘Touch The Lock‘, which Pitchfork praised for its “prismatic synth pop”, will be aware of the variegated nature of what they do. This album is just as colourful, with Neysa’s vocalwork sparking similarities to Kim Gordon’s off-kilter vocals, which they both ceremoniously jets through a post-electronica blender mixing stylized indie sleaze productions with 90s breakbeats. While they might appear as a singular entity to others, UTO wrote large sections of this album apart, converging by the fireside to discuss the day’s work before coming together to hone and finish the songs. 2023 was, by their own admission, a difficult year, and that’s reflected in the Dantean themes expressed in songs such as the lead single ‘Zombie’, which arrived at the end of November as a taster for the new record; the latter’s

HOLLY NORTH | Campus Club mixtape | Ki Records Hailing from the Baltic coast, born into a family of musicians, Holly North was immersed in music throughout his childhood. At age seven, he was encouraged to learn the cello, before venturing onto the piano and electric bass during his teenage years. Alongside an early musical education, he also experienced a political one, and credits living in Greifswald with leading him to become politically and socially conscious at a young age. Following a stint in New York, he gained familiarity with the electronic music scene and quickly built a name for himself via a string of celebrated releases, including his 2021 single release Youth which received over one million streams on Spotify alone, before joining Christian Löffler’s Ki Records this year. As a live-act he has played support shows for Christian Löffler, Booka Shade & Pretty Pink and performed at the famous Tanzwüste at Fusion Festival. For this 114th episode of IndieRE Radio CORAX prepared some refreshing Punk in its different variations with bands like Onyon, Rouge, D.B.R. and Zakk2000. In the interviews we talk with the new post punk force from Leipzig mantarochen about their first EP and with the not-so-new Klabusterbären from Halle about their musical background and how they experienced the fall of the Wall as a punk band from East Germany. MIRA | Campus Local Club, Brest Originaire de Flers en Basse Normandie, Marvin Aka Mira découvre la musique électronique pendant ses années d'études à Brest. Après une année d'Erasmus à Madrid qui confirme son amour pour la dance et la fête, MIRA retourne à Brest et lance le projet KRAM en fin 2022. Il co-fonde l’association du même nom avec ses copains d'écoles : Antoine (Antmo), Raoul (Ronnie) et Kevin (Kuzz).
