A soppy Augusta National yields some low scores, and we chat about the guys that made moves, those that disappointed, Bryson, Tiger, Rory, Spieth, Casey, Schauffele, and everything else from a fun day one in Augusta. We chat about the incredible online viewing experience, new camera angles, a patron-less Augusta, and a lot more. 

Masters week is finally here, and there's a lot to discuss. Soly, Tron, DJ, and Randy sit down to chat about what we know as of Tuesday of Masters week, how that has affected the handicapping, conditions, grass, Bryson, his eye-popping practice rounds, Rory, Tiger, and a bunch of listener questions. We talk about replacing 17 in the routing, the funnel pin on 16, how the 13th will play, the eery atmosphere, and so much more. 

Long time Augusta attendee Wright Thompson joins to share some of his favorite Augusta stories, some perspective on what the Masters means to him, how the voiceovers for ESPN's coverage come together, his incredible Tiger Woods story from 2016, and how his father never making it to Augusta still sits with him. 

Matty Kelly has caddied in many Masters, and he sits down with us in advance of next week's event to go through his yardage books, talk about each hole, how they play it, how Bryson might play it, and a ton of other great Augusta nuggets along the way. This one was a blast, and it will give you a ton of things to get excited about in advance of next week. 

Matt Fitzpatrick made some headlines with some of his comments a few weeks ago. He joins the pod to add some context behind those comments, the relationship between distance and the game of golf, Bryson, and course setups. We also go deep on Augusta as we turn our attention towards the Masters, getting into some of his specific notes from his yardage book, what it takes to compete there, and a lot more.

Rocco! The story telling legend joins the show to talk about the '06 Masters, '08 US Open, dealing with back pain, knowing he didn't have what it took to compete on the PGA Tour, figuring out what it takes, and so much more. 

Martin Laird wins the Shriners, so we spend most of the show talking about Bryson's comments this week, as he tees it up for the the last time until the Masters. 48 inch drivers, the line on 13, technology/distance, etc., all covered extensively. Hudson Swafford joins us shortly after his win in the Dominican Republic to talk through the pressure of the back nine, how he channeled the nerves, persevered through a double bogey, and his health battles the last few years. On the back half, Mackenzie Hughes joins to talk about his wild ride towards the end of the season, needing to par the last at the BMW to make it to East Lake, getting back in the majors, Winged Foot, Corales, and a lot more. 

A slow week in golf means a two hour episode. Max Homa joins us to talk about the Corales Puntacana, his fall, the U.S. Open conditions, the Payne's Valley Cup, and a lot more. On the back half, Soly, D.J., and Max create a "composite" PGA Tour course, going through the best first hole, best second hole, best third, all the way through the 18th. Some holes you would expect to see on there, and some that you might not. This was maybe too much fun. 

Paul McGinley joins to talk about golf in England and Ireland, his first Ryder Cup, what Sam Torrance told him about his role on the team, the bits and pieces he learned from his captains, and how it molded him into the captain of the 2014. He gives great detail on how he managed egos, individual relationships, expectations, statistics, and everything else that goes into the complicated role of captain.
