Sinopsis
The Bible reveals one irreducible fact: God is for broken people. This channel contains the sermon recordings of the preaching pastors at the New Community Church with services at Hackensack and Edgewater in New Jersey. Our vision is to be "A Church for the Broken" and we hope these messages will help the listeners come to know more intimately the God who is for those who don't have it all together. You can find more media content and information about the church at www.newmercy.cc.

Why is God so Reticent?
01/11/2016 Duración: 01h04minEven to longtime Christians, God can oftentimes appear reticent, even silent. Sometimes, God does things that feel extraordinary, but most of the time -- from our experience -- he seems to be elusive. The cross clearly shows us it's not because he doesn't care or because he doesn't want to be intimate with us. Rather, the character of God shows there are reasons and wisdom for his subtle -- even puzzling -- ways. | Psalm 13

One Another
11/09/2016 Duración: 54minPaul lays out God's plan for the church in Ephesians 4: God gives the church leaders to equip its members; when that is done -- when members are equiped and serving one another -- growth happens and the body functions with healthy unity and is able to resist from drifting into error and a path that leads away from the will of God.This is why Paul's letters are filled with ""one another"" exhortations. Only when the members of the body are collectively ministering to one another (as opposed to the pastors simply ministering to its members), only then is the church the community that God wants it to be.In this sermon, we will be looking at the foundational community plan that God has for the church. In addition to this, we will explore some of the ""one another"" passages to see exactly what it looks like to live as a Christian community.
