How do we approach God with our desires, concerns and intercessions? Does God care? Is He listening? Are we bothering Him? Jesus helps us to understand how we should approach God in and with our prayers.

We all try to make sense of what happens in our life. If we gained insight to what and why then we can walk in faith and be encouraged. God has a purpose for the difficulties that we face.

How is your prayer life? It’s the question that makes all of us feel really guilty. We don’t pray well. We don’t pray often enough and often our prayers seem shallow and to miss the mark. The good news is that Jesus left us with some instructions on how to pray.

The disciplines of the Christian life are necessary for us to grow, but easy to neglect. One of the things Jesus commends is that we take time to be with Him. This section in Luke helps us to see the connection between sitting with Him and service to Him.

How has life gone for you? When you first trusted Christ were you told that all would be easy and prosperous? The New Testament gives us the truth about following Jesus. There will be difficulties, but we can discover hope in the face of our trials.

What are you going through? Trials and tragedy come to us in this world. What are we to make of our difficulties? The writer of Hebrews encourages us to look to the One who can help us through the difficult times.

One of the most famous stories in this gospel is the story of the Good Samaritan. It has been so impactful that 2,000 years later you can refer to it and people know what you are talking about. But the point of the story is much deeper than just love. It’s about life.

What do you get when you get God as your Father? Everybody likes to get stuff. In this sermon, we take a look at some of the great benefits of having God be our Father through Jesus Christ.

Everyone is called to ministry. We are called to be change agents all the time. We can have the most influence on those we spend time with. Family, job, & community are the places where we need to be ministers. You may be the only Jesus others see. How will people feel about Jesus after meeting you?

Who are you? Our identity is often defined by our life roles. But what if we had a identity based on the relationship we have with God. God has demonstrated good toward us even when we didn’t deserve. He has changed our identity.

Our views of God are often set by the experiences we have with people on earth. Our earthly fathers have impacted our view of the heavenly father. In this sermon, we begin to learn about what it takes to revise our view and to grow in our relationship with God based on who He really is for us.

What can we learn about what the Father is like? The gospel of John reveals to us that we can get an exact picture of what God is really like by looking and listening to the right person. Our mental canvas can be painted by the works and words of Jesus.

There are as the song “a thousand stories of what God is like”, so which one should we believe. It matters who tells us what God is like. Jesus came to reveal who God is and what God does. What did Jesus say God was like?

Our views about God impact our lives. In this introductory sermon we begin on our discovery about the attributes and character of God. The greatest discovery can be made when we begin to learn about who God is and what He is like.

You are called. You are sent. The gospel is not just for our personal transformation, but the transformation of the world. If we follow Jesus we follow into the world where the harvest is plentiful.
