This week we start a new series called "Our Vision" and is based on the new vision statement of the United Methodist Church. We begin iwth "Love Boldly" and we explore the way that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. That we should emulate the bold love that Christ has as we seek justice and peace in the world. We love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously as we share the Gospel message. Our scripture readings come from Leviticus 19:11-18; Romans 13:8-14; Matthew 22:34-40.

This week we return to the “Word in Song.” This series is one that I come back to periodically and conect a song to Scripture. This week our message is "On the Turning Away" and comes from the song of the same name by Pink Floyd. We must face our own responsiblity as we look at not turning away from the problems of the world, but always turning to God to do good in this world. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message. Our scripture readings come from Ezekiel 18:21-32; 1 John 3:13-18; Matthew 18:1-9.

Our Advent and Christmas series is called “Signs of the Season.” Each week we will look at a different concept that we will reflect on as part of our rememberence of the birth of our Savior. Our final message today is “Signs and Journeys” and looks at the journey we are on as we celebrate Christmas. We remember the signs of the season as we await our Emmanuel, God with us. Our scripture readings come from Isaiah 60:1-6; Ephesians 3:1-12; and Matthew 2:1-12.

Our message today is “Remember Me” and is reflection based on the words spoken to Jesus on the cross. We think about the way we ask to be remembered. We remember to walk with faith and love when we remember to follow Christ. Our scripture readings come from Jeremiah 23:1-6; Colossians 1:11-20; and Luke 23:33-43.

This series is called “We Remember.” Each week we will look at another important topic and how we remember. Our message today is “Remember Your Baptism” and is about the way that we remember the promises made in our baptism and the way it draws us together as a community. We remember to walk with faith and love when we remember to follow Christ. Our scripture readings come from Psalm 51; Acts 2:38-41; and Mark 1:1-8.

This series is called “We Remember.” Each week we will look at another important topic and how we remember. Our message today is “Remember the Promise” and is about promises between us and God. We discuss the ways we remember those promises and what they mean to us. We remember to walk with faith and love when we remember to follow Christ. Our scripture readings come from Genesis 9:8-17; Hebrews 8:5-7,10:14-18; and Luke 1:68-79.

This series is called “We Remember.” Each week we will look at another important topic and how we remember. Our message today is “Remember the Saints” and is a special message for All Saints Sunday. We discuss the ways we remember those who have gone before and we anticipate those that will follow. We remember to walk with faith and love when we remember to follow Christ. Our scripture readings come from Daniel 7:1-3, 15-18; Ephesians 1:11-23; Luke 6:20-31.

Today’s message is all about how we can struggle to find our way and have difficulty keeping our faith. We sing a song of the heart when we sing of the Gospel message.
