The preseason is in full swing and a colourful cast of characters are taking the roles of Canucks preseason superstars! Who will be this year's Fedor Fedorov? Dave, P Mac and Ryan are recording at the Coliseum where the Vancouver Giants had a successful home opener and read Geeta's letter from Paris. Is there a trip to Euro-Disneyland in the mix? The guys talk about attending the Canucks' preseason game vs Calgary and defensive standout Ben Hutton and look at the upcoming Canucks season and who could get those coveted final roster spots. They also talk about the messy and on-going Patrick Kane saga, Stanley Cup engraving and just where Steven Stamkos could go or end up....hint, we think it's totally Tampa. The gang's back together! Paul, Dave, Geeta & Ryan return from summer vacation ready for NHL training camps and the pre-season. They discuss the unusual gimmicks featured in the 2016 World Cup of Hockey, mainly the under-23 team and discuss the hockey overkill that could happen if the NHL goes to the Olympics in South Korea in 2018. They look at the Young Stars tournament in Penticton. Connor McDavid's somewhat debut in an Edmonton Oilers jersey as well as Jake Virtanen laying the body on every player in orange on the ice.  Is Jake the Snake playing for the Canucks this season? Or will he have to fight even harder for the final roster spot on Vancouver's big club. They also look at the Boston Bruins' draft picks failing conditioning tests, the various legal troubles of NHL players and the upcoming uniform deal the NHL has with Adidas and have some fun talking about Evander Kane! The Chicago Blackhawks have a dynasty and Ronda barely still has her Arizona Coyotes. Ryan and P Mac are here this week to break down the Blackhawks' third Stanley Cup in six seasons, their unquestioned dynasty and the mounting injuries of the Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final. They also look towards draft day and free agency for Jim Benning and the Vancouver Canucks. Geeta, Ryan and P Mac get together and record this podcast just after the Oshawa Generals defeated the Kelowna Rockets in the Memorial Cup Final. They're talking about some members of the podcast's solid Stanley Cup champion predictions from October (Dave and Geeta are still alive). They look at the amazing Western Conference Final, Ryan Kesler's performance and the "under achiever" title that Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry are slowly being given. (Something about those big power forwards in California huh?). They also talk Kelowna Rockets and the Memorial Cup that Cole Cassels and Oshawa won as well as a quick look at what fellow Canucks' prospect Jake Virtanen is doing down in Utica! The Ducks and Blackhawks are beating the crap out of each other and the Easter Conference teams are sitting back and takin' it easy! Dave, P Mac and Ryan are here this week to talk about the AMAZING series between the Ducks and the Blackhawks. They look at Ryan Kesler's douchebaggery, but also praise him on his intense style of play, regardless of the effects on his body or his career being shortened. They're also (obviously) talking Mike Babcock in Toronto and what could happen the first few seasons, and Dave (with a little help from James Duthie) brings up another way the seasons could go that Maple Leafs fans might not like. The guys also look back at Eric Lindros, the Nordiques drafting him 1st overall, him not reporting and what affect he could have had on the Quebec Nordiques franchise if he decided to report and play after all. Are the Arizona Coyotes moving again? What is this, a re-run? Ryan, Dave and P Mac get together this week to talk about the possibility of the Arizona Coyotes being moved in a pinch to a couple different cities. Dave outlines the chance of an NHL team in Saskatoon (HEY! it almost happened in the 90's) and how it could work...just as long as they call em the Roughriders! Eddie Lack's name is coming up in trade rumours a lot this week, the guys talk about goalie combinations and what Jim Benning could and should do with smiling Eddie Lack. They also talk Mike Babcock, the IIHF World Hockey Championships, Leon Draisaitl and the powerhouse Kelowna Rockets headed to the Memorial Cup and a funny discovery about who's on the pay roll for the Edmonton Oilers. Someone mistakes Dave as Linden Vey and throws a punch at him, needless to say, Canucks fans aren't happy with the former Medicine Hat Tiger Geeta, Dave and Ryan are here this week to talk about the Montreal Canadiens making a series out of it against Tampa Bay and Ovi's quest for the Stanley Cup Finals. They're also talking positive direction in Edmonton, Bob Hartley for the Jack Adams award and a look back at Mark Messier in the 2003 Heritage Classic in Edmonton...when he was still an active member of the New York Rangers. They look at Jaromir Jagr's new positive role in the NHL and his quest to climb the all time NHL points leader standings and look back at Carey Price's draft day and Pierre McGuire's absolute shock at their draft pick...needless to say it worked out pretty well from the Habs! Tampa Bay has Montreal's number, Mike Babcock has the number of all 30 GM's in the league and Paul wore a certain Florida hockey jersey to the podcast this week. Ryan, Dave and P Mac are here this week to talk about the Canadiens' ongoing problems w/ the Lightning and what needs to change for the Game 3 and onward. They look at the possible new employers of Mike Babcock, including a couple not really being mentioned, and discuss the soon to be quick exit of the Calgary Flames by the Anaheim Ducks after looking so promising against the Vancouver Canucks. On the subject of the Canucks, they look at some prospects going to Utica, who could crack the big club next year and just what they might do with their goalie situation. Finally, they take a look at the Hart Trophy finalists and give their thoughts on who should walk away with the hardware. Enjoy!

The Canucks' season is over, the Flames are headed to Anaheim and the Montreal Canadiens advance to the second round like they should have. Dave, P Mac and Ryan get together a day after the Canucks blow a 3-0 lead in Cow Town and lose 7-4 to the Flames. They talk about the series as a whole, what went wrong and which players they think played their last game for the Vancouver Canucks. Ryan shares tales from his trip to Brandon, Manitoba covering the WHL Eastern Conference Final and watching the Canucks' playoff games on the road. The focus shifts to Edmonton, where a new General Manager Peter Chiarelli seems to have a plan in mind to fix the Oilers. Is there a potential Canucks/Oilers trade looming? Will the Penguins Trade Sidney Crosby? What will happen after their lackluster appearance in the playoffs? Ol Jimmy Rutherford stops by to share his thoughts. Enjoy!

They look at the Canucks' minor struggles in Game 3 vs the Flames, the instant affect of Michael Ferland and the possibility of a Ryan Miller appearance. They also look at the NHL Draft Lottery, what the Oilers are going to do and how Connor McDavid handled the news of his potential future NHL home all on live TV. The 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs begin this week and hockey fans couldn't be more excited to see five Canadian clubs make the post season. Geeta, Dave, P Mac and Ryan are here this week to talk about the mass firings in Toronto, the very even first round matches in both conferences and where the Vancouver Canucks size up against the Flames as well as teams in the West. This season's post season has all the makings of a cinderella (possibly Canadian) team to make a run to the cup and the gang gives their predictions. They also look at the extremely positive year the Canucks had compared to last season's Torts experiment, talk about their night in the Social Suite and talk about the Montreal Canadiens dominant season which hopefully wont get interrupted by a red hot Senators team and a pesky Hamburglar! The calm before the storm that is the 2015 Stanley Cup Playoffs is upon us. Geeta, P Mac and Ryan get together this week to talk about the Vancouver Canucks' final games in the regular season, the Montreal Canadiens struggles against Tampa Bay and the ongoing mystery of the St. Louis Blues. Ryan and Geeta share their Saturday night of tracking down Jason Spezza, which turned into an entire Dallas Stars affair. Paul shares his thoughts on the Vancouver Millionaires jerseys and the 100th anniversary of the Stanley Cup win. They also look into the Pucks on net mailbag, look at how the eastern conference can match up. Enjoy!

Carey Price keeps getting better, Tyler Toffoli walks away a free man and oh yeah, that Hamburglar keeps winning. Geeta, Dave and Ryan get together this week to talk about the emotional Canucks win in Los Angeles and what they need to do to keep their playoff hopes alive. But the episode starts off with an unusual story about the popularity of pens in the WHL from a hotel in Kamloops They look at Mario Tremblay's DUI arrest and the interesting comments he made. They are still blown away by Carey Price's improving stats especially after a big win against the Sharks. They talk Andrew Hammond and whether, if this hot streak continues and they make the playoffs, if he could be considered for any awards. Finally, Ryan rants about Canucks fans' goal song complaints and brings up the tradition of cheesy and bad goal songs in this city and they look back at Pat Quinn night vs. the Flyers.   Enjoy!
