Buttrick recently finished in 9th place at the Muddobbers Enduro in the Kenda National Enduro Championship in Matthews, Indiana. He is currently 5th overall in the standings. He rides for the KR4/Husqvarna Team and competes in GNCC, NEPG and FGSE events. He is in 10th place in the GNCC Series in the XC1 class.
