Pastor Bruce Garner // I’m always pretty fired up about teaching the Bible - but I’m REALLY excited to revisit the wise, wonderful Proverbs in a second look at a series we are calling “WISDUMB.” You see, the biblical proverbs put you at a crossroads and let you observe life as it REALLY IS. Then you’re invited to make a choice. The choice will either be wise… or dumb. Like you, I’ve done both! This week, we will dive into Proverbs 3 - one of the most quoted (and perhaps abused) passages in the whole Bible. Before we’re done, we will see what 3,000 year old proverbs have to tell us about angry people and the frenetic world of social media. Yes, it’s all in there! Invite a friend! I cannot encourage you strongly enough to be here and invite your friends. Everyone who is married, hopes to be, or cares about a married couple will benefit from this teaching.

Pastor Bruce Garner // Beginning with the scandalous fall of Harvey Weinstein, our culture has been both revealed and shaken by the #MeToo movement. As Christians, we cannot afford to be ignorant, indifferent or silent. This weekend, I’ll prayerfully try to shed some biblical light on the issues that are screaming from the headlines. This is a great weekend to invite someone to church. Justice; mercy; love. God has it all.

Pastor Bruce Garner // Christmas celebrates the birth of the Person of Jesus, and our activities, gatherings, and parties are meant to deepen our relationships with people, not strain them in the pursuit of “perfect” memories. Pray to enjoy and give peace in your relationships every day this season.

Pastor Bruce Garner // Last weekend we learned about gratitude, and I suggested a simple, effective practice: at the end of each day, write down three things you are grateful for, and then pray to God to give Him thanks. I’ve received some amazing messages this week telling me about your adventures in gratitude! Let’s keep going!
