Allah has chosen certain times, days and places over others to be more holy. No doubt the nights of Ramadan are the most blessed, but more blessed than the days of Ramadan are the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah - The Month of Hajj Prophet Muhammad (ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam) said, "There are no days of the year in which righteous deeds done in them are more beloved to Allah than the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah!" Shaykh Yasir Qadhi explains the superiority of these days and enlightens us with deeds that can be done in these 10 blessed days.

MuftiMenk gave an important lecture on how to use the best 10 days of the year of DhulHijjah / ZulHijjah. He mentioned the hadith - there are no days of the year wherein gooddeeds are more loved by Allah subhanahu wata'ala than those that are done within these 10 days referring to the first 10 days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Menk says Ask Allah’s forgiveness being repented for the committed sins, beautify compulsory deeds like salah, increasing extra or voluntary goods like charity, reciting Quran, #fasting, helping others, making dua for the people who are suffering across the globe, etc . Speaker: Omar Suleiman The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was on the pulpit and he said: اْر َحُمواتُْر َحُمواَواْغِفُروايَْغِفْراللَُّهلَُكْم Be merciful to others and you will receive mercy. Forgive others and Allah will forgive you. َولَْيْعُفواَولَْيْصَفُحواأََلاتُِحُّبوَنأَنيَْغِفَراللَُّهلَُكْمَواللَُّهَغُفوٌرَّرِحيٌم Let them pardon and overlook. Would you not love for Allah to forgive you? Allah is Forgiving and Merciful. (24:22) Our most beloved are usually the ones we tend to hurt the most. Ironically, they are also the hardest people to forgive or be forgiven by. Naturally, negative feelings grow more and more the longer we go without forgiving others. Khutbah by Nouman Ali Khan The power of duaa can't be overstated. The profound supplication Musa (AS) made at one of the weakest moments of his life is an inspiring example of this, as Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan reminds us in this khutbah. After growing up in Pharaoh’s court, Musa suddenly finds himself a fugitive from the law and roams the desert until he reaches Madian. Desperate, he asks his creator for help and vows to take anything He provides. But that's not all. He also hopes for forgiveness for the sin he committed by doing as much good as he can in the world. The lesson learnt is that we must understand the way duaa works and know that the sincerity of our duaa is measured according to how far we accept what Allah provides with gratitude, no matter how little it seems, and to always help others more desperate than us.
