Ok, so this may not have been the Bizzong! show you were expecting. That is to say this is not the big Bizzong! Live from Scares That Care show. Not exactly. The audio from the live recording didn't come out all that spectacular so Mr. Frank is cobbling together the listenable parts and including a full on interview with one of the participants of the live recording, John Wayne Comunale. John Wayne has a bunch of new stuff going on so it was time to get him back on the show anyway. So welcome back past guest John Wayne Comunale where we talk about our Scare That Cares Charity Weekend experiences and dig into all the new goodies John Wayne has for you Zongers to devour. This is Bizzong! And things are going to get bizarre and weird as usual Zongers! This week's guest is the author of GUITAR WOLF, Nicholaus Patanude and is part of the 2016 New Bizarro Author Series. I always enjoy interviewing the NBAS writers and it is a unique opportunity to get the persepective or writers who are just beginning their journey into the genre. Nicholaus has provided one of the most open behind the scenes looks at the process of pitching story ideas, fleshing them out and working on the final product for the book series. Nicholaus also runs Psychodelic Horror Press, a publishing house he hopes he can utilize to create books that are not only a blend of high concept fiction and low brow punk driven pulp but also a book that transcends are mere vessel for words and becomes an object of beauty and artful appreciation. This weeks guest can commonly be found giving wedgies to teachers on the playground and he is often time heard giving lectures to turtles about bullseyesing womprats in his T-49 back at home. Spring has sprung on Bizzong! The flowers are blooming, the weather is mild and Mr. Frank is hitting the road trying to convince unsuspecting readers to take a stab at one of his books. This week on Bizzong, host Mr. Frank talks about the #BeersNFears New Jersey Brewery Tour he is a part of. Fresh off the tour's first stop at Demented Brewing, he recounts the evening and the elements that make having this type of signing/selling event a unique way to get your books out to the public you may not necessarily reach otherwise.  There are still three more days left on the tour. Zongers! We've got an American classic this week for you. Arthur Graham is one half of the founding duo of the Rooster Republic Press. His tenacity and eye for quality Bizarro fiction helped shape an influential Bizarro press and shape the landscape of what Bizarro can be beyond the scope of Eraserhead Press.  But beyond that, Arthur Graham is also a wonderful creator of Bizarro fiction himself. He writes weird poetry, crazy short fiction and balls-to-the-wall fun long form fiction. He is an unsung hero of the Bizarro genre and I hope spotlighting him on Bizzong this week will help inform everyone of the great work he's done and continues to do with the bizarre and weird fiction realms.
