    MR61: In this week's episode, I talked with Adam Roach who is 4 times winner of BigSur Marathon. He was the second overall winner for the 2017 BigSur Marathon as well as Boston2BigSur Marathon challenge. Adam competed in track, cross country, football and basketball at Port Huron High School with best times of 4:19 in the 1600m run. In college, he ran track and cross country at Saginaw Valley State University from 2002-2006. He Qualified for the NCAA Division II championships as an individual 4 times in 3 different events including the 1 mile run, 5000m and the 3000m steeplechase; he finished his career with personal bests of 14:26 in the 5000m and a SVSU school record of 4:09 in the indoor mile. After college, Adam moved up in distance to focus on Half Marathon and Marathon distances posting personal bests of 1:08 and 2:24 respectfully. Adam's marathon success includes winning the Big Sur Marathon in 4 times including second overall in 2017, as well as a 10th place finish at the 2014 L.A. Marathon. He set
