The Aaron Burr Society launched the 2nd Whiskey Rebellion on February 6, 2010. Jim Costanzo is an artist, activist, professor and distiller. The Aaron Burr Society hopes to teach people about the government, taxation and what we can do with our own hands to remove ourselves in some small way from the machinery that grinds us into submission.

Jon DeRosa grew up in suburban NJ and became a guitar slinger which led to some great albums and stints with the likes of Stephin Merritt, he then mastered cocktails, moved to LA and discovered a personal fascination with Peru, Ayuhuasca and how the traditional herbs and medicines of the jungle could be applied to the ailments of modern life. He's still creating orchestral, country tinged, rock albums, but has traded his suspenders and rolled up sleeves for flowier garb and the tools of his trade are no longer jiggers and shakers, but kuripes and tepis.

Leah Archibald is the front woman of 70s stlye power rock trio Wide Right, she's also a mom of two, and the executive director of Evergreen, North Brooklyn's #1 resource for industrial and manufacturing businesses. How does she do it all? From performing late night gigs to getting the city to help businesses in our neighborhood, Leah is busy, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Austin Hartman of Montana's Trailhouse joins Harry to talk Rum, among other things. Austin is a Rum lover and Harry's grandfather was a bootlegger so it seems inly fitting to discuss rum, and talk punch, 'tis the season!

Matt Levy of Levy's Unique New York (try saying that 10 times fast) grew up in NY's first family of tour guides. He's led thousands of people all over NYC to visit and learn about history and his favorite places. Matt will give us some tips on where to take that out of town guest who isn't impressed with NY and he'll share his best recipes from his recently launched Covert Cocktail Club.

Jeni Britton Bauer and Ellen Bennett are two of the hardest working women in our food world. Jeni is at the helm of the acclaimed Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream and won a James Beard award for her book Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams at Home. Ellen Bennett has grown her apron and chef wear company from 400sf to 14000sf in less than 4 years and is creating some of the most beautiful, functional and sought after aprons, all handmade in Los Angeles. The two just completed a 9 day tour of 5 cities to share their products and love of the maker and doer world we live in. Not only do they work hard, but they have a great time doing it!

Helen Hollyman is at the head of a food media powerhouse. The Munchies arm of the VICE juggernaut is all about food, and people, and food, and tech, and food, and munchies. Helen and Harry talk about the test kitchen at Munchies and what it was like to make truffles at age 5. maybe they'll try some snacks too.

Joseph Franquinha of the famous Crest Hardware on Metropolitan Avenue in Brooklyn joins Harry to talk about what it was like to grow up in a small business and see the changes in Brooklyn's fastest growing neighborhood firsthand. Donald J. Trump was elected early this morning to be the 45th president (hopefully not the last) of this great nation and we'll talk about what our bubble in NY can do now.
