If pride is keeping you from reaching out the way you know that you know God desires, it's time to repent.

Keep choosing to trust. It does get easier.

And the blessing of our Savior, is that he calls us his own. God knows our name, too.

pray to forgive this pastor who gets wound up when he talks about the church's prayer life. 

Most times, I find we want to sit and wait in our sanctuaries and expect people to meet us there.

There's no good reason to leave the best of God's clothes just hanging in the closet.

Is there any way you're preparing yourself right now for what God may do later?

How long before you hear the rooster?

Isaac Watts may have said it best when he wrote: Love so amazing, so divine, demands my soul, my life, my all.

But as we allow Spirit's work to make sin less clingy, we are able to fully devote our lives to the glory of God. 

Make the most of every opportunity to bring others to the Savior. 

"To worship the Lord is--in the world's eyes--a waste of time."

imply put, God wants his beloved children to want to live as beloved children of God.

If you don't expect that from me, what kind of godly fellowship do we truly have?

It may seem foolish to some to keep praying, to keep giving and to keep proclaiming God's goodness. 

Here's a little secret I've learned to get out of the sales pitch.

When worship is more God-centered, we hunger for and need to hear whatever it is that God wants to speak to our heart. No matter how long it takes. 

Don't tell me what you hate. Show me how you love one another. Isn't that in the Bible somewhere?

If I were to pinpoint a moment I do regret it would be that day in the ICU room. 

Jesus doesn't tell us to keep that a secret any more.
