How much of our sense of self is idolizing who we think we are?

The reality is it's easier to throw rocks at people.

There is a sense that the world is in order when the king follows God's design.

Christians around the world keep celebrating long past Christmas Day. When I discovered that, I wondered what was wrong with us.

If following the way of Jesus doesn't get you what you want, what does that say about your desires?

The glory of the Lord fills the whole earth! No other king can ever say that.

God used good friends and family to bless and heal Job.

The poor tell us who we are, the prophets tell us who we could be.

God's church should be that healthy, healing environment for people to find peace.

This decline in Christian understanding and discipleship is nothing new. We've been joking about it for some time.
