Last week we were introduced to our new series through the perspective of John the Apostle, writer of the Book of Revelation. We'll be studying this Book together for the next three weeks as part of a series entitled "Throne Room." This Sunday we'll be focusing on our sovereign, awesome, holy God on the Throne - our God Who is worthy of all our attention, praise and worship.

Join us for a dramatic retelling of the life, death, and ministry of Jesus Christ as told from the perspective of John the Apostle. We'll get his side of the story as we look forward to a new series on Revelation.

Even with Christ in our lives, we still are called to face trials, tests, and hardships. But James encourages us to "consider it all joy" when we are faced with them. Why? Join us this Sunday morning as Phil Thompson from the Twin Cities (under whom our youth & children's Pastor internshiped during his time at Northwestern College) will be answering the question "Why does God test us?" We'll find that when we rest in the character of God, we can choose joy every time. We look forward to seeing you this Sunday morning at 10:30 for worship!

When it comes to giving to the church, what is your attitude? This week we'll look into 2 Corinthians 9 and see Paul's exhortation to give with a willing, joyful heart, fully allowing God to work through our generosity.
