Post Time with Mike and Mike will be on the air with another exciting episode coming up on Thursday, March 1st at 10:30 AM Eastern.  Mike and Mike will be reviewing the memorable moments from the Dan Patch Awards, which were held last Sunday in Orlando, Florida.  Guests include outgoing USHWA President Tim Bojarski, incoming USHWA President Shawn Wiles, and the Founder of World Wide Racing Photos John Pantalone.  Bojarski will reflect on this past Sunday's awards, as well as his time as President of the Unites States Harness Writers Association. Wiles will talk about his new post as USHWA's head man and the challenges that face the organization in the years ahead. Elkton, MD --- Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by BetAmerica is excited to announce their line-up for Thursday (Feb. 15) morning's show at 10:30 a.m. Rich Johnston will join the program to talk about the Hervey Award in the broadcast division that he, T.J. Burkett, Allison Conte and Dave Briggs helped report on. Johnston produced the John Campbell retirement video that the USTA used on their Youtube channels and other forms of social media. We will talk with Johnston about his career and how he got into the sport of harness racing. Dave Briggs won the news/commentary category of the Hervey Awards for his story about the Classy Lane fires, and the barns being rebuilt. The story was in the Jan. 8 issue of Harness Racing Update and provided raw details of how the area was working to re-build after the devastating fires. Post Time with Mike and Mike presented by BetAmerica is excited to announce its line-up for Thursday morning's (Feb. 8) show at 10:30 a.m. Trainer of Stay Hungry, Tony Alagna, will join the program to talk about his top 3-year-old pacing colt. Stay Hungry was recently named the 2017 2-year-old pacing colt of the year at the O'Brien Awards in Canada. He swept both the elimination and the final of the 2017 Breeders Crown at Hoosier Park Racing and Casino. Alagna will speak to what is next for his top pacing colt. Pacey "The Wiz" Mindlin, the enthusiastic handicapper at Miami Valley, will join the show to talk about his career in harness racing. He currently handicaps the races with track announcer Barry Vicroy and also does the handicapping for the week of the Little Brown Jug. Last week on the show, the newly appointed Director of Racing at Yonkers Raceway Cammie Haughton dropped a bombshell on the harness racing world by stating that the racetrack will do away with its passing lane in January. While the passing lane was once considered innovative, it has since fallen out of favor with a percentage of the harness racing population.  Driver Yannick Gingras, DRF's Garnet Barnsdale, and NAHU's Rod Allums Jr. will join the program to debate the pros and cons of the passing lane, and its future in the sport of harness racing. "It will be interesting to get three different perspectives on the subject.
