Seth Dillon, the CEO of The Babylon Bee, joins Leighton in a broadcast to congratulate Seth on his victory over Calvinism once and for all! Since the 5th century when St. Augustine, a former Manichean convert from Africa, introduced theistic determinism into the church, many Christian theologians have attempted to eradicate these gnostic sounding doctrines altogether. All have failed--until now! Dr. Flowers responds to a recent Dividing Line program in which Dr. White was asked about the specific exegetical and hermeneutical methodologies he uses that are different from Dr. Flowers in interpreting Paul's meaning in Romans 9. Dr. Flowers walks through a lesson on Hermeneutics posted at AOMIN by Calvinistic scholar, John Samson, to demonstrate that the principles of exegesis and hermeneutics are not different, but the presuppositions are different. The real distinction between the two debaters is that Dr. White just assumed his presuppositions without argumentation, while Dr. Flowers provided Biblical arguments supporting his.
