The Avs also had a big game this weekend with a big comeback, but that means they’re still falling behind, are you worried about the Avs’ slow starts? They close out the hour talking about the Rockies’ poor opening weekend and ranting about their issues with a certain expensive malcontent.

The Nuggets shot lights out but Stoke and Mat have to wonder how the Nuggets should handle the stretch run, do they try to stay healthy or do they try to get the 1 seed? Mat and Stoke try to see through all of the smoke coming from the Broncos’ top brass as we enter the month of The Draft. They lay out exactly how they would rebuild the Broncos, should the Broncos even take a QB this year or should they go for BPA?

Brandon Stokley and Mat Smith open the fourth and final hour making a correction and taking some texts from the listeners, getting their take on the Broncos’ rebuild. Mat and Stoke debate how the Broncos should approach answering the QB question, should they learn from Draft history or should they take it case-by-case? They highlight a record breaking performance before speculating whether Coach Prime is actually serious about his comments about Shedeur pulling an Eli or an Elway. Both tenants of The Can have clinched playoffs, they both have legitimate franchise cornerstones. Do the Broncos have any on the roster right now? What’s the best way to get more franchise players for the Broncos? The guys point out some lessons the Broncos should take from the Avs and Nuggets to help their rebuild before they hand off to The Drive.

Stoke and Josh open today’s show recapping some of the action around the Denver sports scene, going in depth on the Avs’ 3-2 shootout loss to the Rangers where Mackinnon’s point streak ended and Josh calls out the folks who are campaigning for the streak to stay alive. Then they have to vent after the Rockies’ embarrassing 16-1 opening day blowout to the Diamondbacks that makes them wonder if the Rockies will even make it over .500 for the rest of the season. The Broncos added a new WR recently, what do the next few weeks look like for the Broncos until The Draft? Stoke and Josh conclude the first hour recapping some of the college basketball action going on.

Stokely and Josh open the second hour making their latest pizza bet, would you take UConn or the field? Then they preview the Nuggets’ biggest game of the season, defending home court against the Timberwolves with the number one seed on the line. Josh asks a very pertinent question: Will the Nuggets or the Rockies win more games this season? The Avs have come up short in the last couple of games to the Habs and the Rangers, is there cause for concern or should we be encouraged by the way the Avs played against an eastern powerhouse team?

Stokely and Josh open the third hour talking Sweet Sixteen and the football schools in the basketball tournament and try to prognosticate the remaining games. They keep an ear to the ground around the NFL and we hear Jayden Daniels’ coach tip his hand and they wonder if the Patriots could take JJ McCarthy at 3, could the Broncos have a shot at Drake Maye? Josh poses a question to Stoke and all of the Denver fans: which game this weekend is more important, the Nuggets versus the Timberwolves or the Avalanche versus the Predators? Or, is it the CU Women vs Iowa? All the guys on the mic and behind the glass close out the third hour with some guy talk about the incident yesterday, the possibility of getting a spike strip, and flamethrowers.

Stokely and Josh open the fourth and final hour talking about the upcoming ESPN documentary about Joe Sakic and wonder if there’s a Denver sports figure right now that’s worthy of their own documentary. There were a couple of Pro Day’s yesterday where some top QB’s threw and the Broncos sent some key personnel to one but not the other. Can we really tell what a team is thinking based off of who goes to a Pro Day? Stokely and Josh ask the fans if the Rockies can get back to .500 after last night’s opening day blowout. The guys chop it up about the Shohei Ohtani situation now that baseball is back in action and have a discussion about sports betting and how the recent scandals will affect their respective leagues.

The fellas previewed tonight's Sweet 16 matchups. The guys gave their thoughts on the new TV subscription for the Colorado Rockies this season. 

In the 2nd hour, Stokley and Josh broke down Matt Miller's mock draft, where will the Broncos be selecting a quarterback and do they land a slot receiver? The fellas reacted to Draymond Green getting thrown out of last night's game for the Warriors. Stoke explained why he is blaming Josh for the Nuggets' loss to the Suns last night. What kind of superstitions does a certain college basketball coach have? The guys talked about the Broncos have people at Drake Maye's Pro Day along with Michael Penix Jr.'s. 

In the 3rd hour, Stokley and Josh discussed which of the projected first round quarterbacks will have the most success right away and who's NFL ready? The guys reacted to last night's Nuggets game against the Suns. The fellas also previewed tonight's Avalanche game against the Rangers. Could Sean Payton have fallen in love with Jayden Daniels?

In the final hour, Stokley and Josh discussed how many games we should be expecting the Rockies to win this season. Josh made fun of Kissner's new hat case that he's borrowing from Stoke. Mike Klis joined the show to name which quarterback he thinks Payton might be eyeing in the first round. Do the Broncos still think that they can turn things around and win this season or are the looking ahead to 2025? Closing out the show the fellas shared an insane story about why the police were in the station's parking lot today.

Josh explained that he doesn't want the Broncos to trade multiple first-round picks to get up to the 4th overall pick for a QB. The fellas gave their thoughts on the NFL putting a wild card playoff game on Amazon Prime this year. Closing out the hour, the guys previewed tongiht's Nuggets game against the Suns.
