No one that knew them foresaw Jeffery Johnson murdering Steve Ercolino.  But that’s exactly what a happened on Friday morning, August 24, 2012.  Sure there was bad blood between them.  The animosity was characterized by verbal confrontations and one tussle in an elevator accompanied by a death threat.  But still no one that knew them thought the rivalry would end in murder.  So what was the cause?  Rational, sane people witnessing the exchanges saw nothing that would lead to murder.  So what did lead to the murder?  But perhaps more importantly, was there anything that could have been done to prevent these deaths?  Let’s find out if the Holy Scriptures provides answers to these questions.
