On October 31st in the year 1517 a German Monk by the name of Martin Luther penned his now famous 95 thesis and nailed them to doors of the Church. This document was a blistering attack on the corruptions of the Vatican, and the outlandish excess of the current Pope. Rome responded by labeling Luther as a Heretic and excommunicating him from the Catholic Church. But this response was too little too late. It’s common to auction cars, boats, planes, paintings, art, houses and more.  There was even a time in the United States of America that people were commonly auctioned as slaves.  But can you believe virginity is auctioned!  Yes that’s right, the virginity of two young adults, one male and one female, has been auctioned to the highest bidder.  If you’ve never heard of this practice, it is rare, but has happened before.  As recently as 2009, a 22 year old woman auctioned her virginity and received some 10,000 bids.  Amazing!  10,000 bids!  With that kind of participation a new trend may be on the horizon.
