In today's world, if someone is addicted to drugs or alcohol, because of their addiction, they would be diagnosed as having a disease.  This is usually descibed as a mental imbalance due to their lack of self control. Could this also be true for other things that we do that we know are wrong, unhealthy, or, most importantly, unrighteous in the eyes of GOD? But because of our lack of self control or lust, we are unable to or have a very difficult time quiting (repenting). When the Roman Emperor Constantine declared his conversion to Christianity it was the beginning of Christianity’s dominance as a religion.
