Darkness to Light:: The Hijacking of Christianity Pt 4 - Martin Luther, Hero or Heretic? On October 31st in the year 1517 a German Monk by the name of Martin Luther penned his now famous 95 thesis and nailed them to doors of the Church. This document was a blistering attack on the corruptions of the Vatican, and the outlandish excess of the current Pope. Rome responded by labeling Luther as a Heretic and excommunicating him from the Catholic Church. But this response was too little too late. The writings of Luther had already begun to spread like wild fire from city to city, state to state and finally country to country in what is now known as the Protestant Reformation – a Reformation that would take on a life of its own and bring about new doctrines and beliefs, some of which were very far removed from the Biblical Truth Luther claimed to be in search of.  Luther’s Reformation would become a whirlwind of chaos, giving rise to seditions, heresies and birthing thousands of different Christian Denominations.

In today's world, with so many different Christian denominations, it is very difficult and confusing for people to choose who they should follow and how they should worship. Is this a movie made simply for entertainment or is it a prophetic presentation of events to come in the next few years? Is it even possible to predict the end of days? The Hijacking of Christianity – Who are the True Soldiers of the Faith? The book of Acts Chapter 11 vs. 26 reveals that the apostles of the Lord Jesus were first called Christians in the city of Antioch. This glorious title set them apart from the entire world. It was a sign to all they would meet and teach – a sign that said “We are the true followers of Jesus the Christ and ambassadors of his doctrine”. As true soldiers of the Faith, the apostles were ready and capable teachers, but even more, they were living breathing testimonies of the faith of Jesus.
