Andrew’s taking on an interesting challenge by mixing comics with Christian spirituality, which I really enjoyed. Usually comics deal with devils and demons and such, so it’s nice to see a different side of spiritual life on display. I met him and discovered his comic at this year’s Cincinnati Comic Expo, and we talk about what cons he’ll attend in the future as well as what's coming next from this rising comics creator. This year’s New York Comic-Con was a little different from recent NYCC’s! Since DC Comics only had a few great talented folks the press could chat with, that meant I didn't get the chance to speak with them! Instead, I took the opportunity to interview other creators at the con. First up was George Mann from the excellent Titan Comics mystery book Newbury and Hobbes, which recently released their second issue! Then came Omar Mirza from the great Indie book Zindan, a great comic that was diverse as well as professionally done!
