Real Presence Live

This was our first "On the Road" feature of Real Presence Live! Executive Director Steve Splonskowski and Programming Coordinator Brandon Clark came to you live from Holy Spirit Church in Virginia, MN. In the first hour, Steve and Brandon began by visiting with Dr. Susan Windley-Daoust of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester about deliberately inviting God to help us forgive those who have trespassed against us. It was then time for our "Straight Talk" call-in segment with Fr. Brandon Moravitz, Pastor of Holy Spirit Church. Listeners called in with questions on topics including: how to engage youth that don't have a faith life, how we have hope in our world when there seems to be so much darkness, if Mary had birthing pains, and what the difference between apostles and disciples is.

In the second hour, hosts Michael Wilde and Fr. Will Thompson spoke with the Diocese of Winona-Rochester's Fr. Timothy Biren about why we describe so many aspects of our faith as mysteries. Our hosts then took listeners on a 10-Minute Tour of local events. Finally, Brian Kusek and Eric Klein joined Michael and Fr. Will to talk about a way young adults can relax with friends, have a beer, and gain insights to our faith at the same time.
