The Father God was in Jesus, and Jesus in Him. From the beginning, Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. All things were made through and by Him for His Glory. When God wanted to show His love for you, He sent His Son into the world. How did Jesus work miracles of healing? It was because He is God. What is in your heart? God doesn't look at outward appearances, He looks upon our heart. He sees our desires and secret yearnings. For with our heart we believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus taught it this way, from the overflow of the heart a man speaks. Sometimes we hear about terrible events: accidents, sickness, financial trouble; why do these things happen? Why do we have sin? Why do we have accidents? Because man rebelled against God. But God so loved you, He sent His Son into the world to break the power of the devil and set us free. We can't always explain or understand the ways of God, but as with the man healed in John 9:25, "One thing I know: though I was blind, now I can see." Do you believe God can work a miracle in your life? All you have to do is say 'Yes' to His Will. But there is a big difference between knowing in your head and knowing in your heart. You cannot trust somebody you do not know. I want you to know in whom you have believed - and then God can work the miracle. 'And just as God raised Christ Jesus was the dead, He will give life to your mortal bodies by the same Spirit living within you.' Our God answers prayer - and He works miracles. I have seen every kind of miracle you can imagine: people born blind, God opens their eyes; broken back are mended; cancers are healed; cripples get out of wheelchairs. - I've seen miracles that are not healing: financial provision; my own miraculous release from prison, and many others besides. I know these miracles will happen when I pray; I don't have any question about it. It is no different from knowing that every morning the sun will get out of bed and show itself at my window. Rejoice, Jesus is calling for you. If I could offer one encouragement, I would tell you to rejoice, to be of good cheer. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. What does that mean? Jesus is calling you; He wants to lift you up and carry you home. He has heard your prayer and is asking, "What do you want Me to do for you?" I want you to know who Jesus really is, to experience His love and power. The amazing thing about blind Bartimaeus is that despite his blindness, he could 'see' Jesus - he recognised Him as the Son of God with power. I want to declare the Glory of Jesus. God has given Him the Name which is above every name; it is through faith in the Name of Jesus we are saved, healed and delivered. All of us experience powerful storms in our lives. In those dark moments, Jesus is there, He cares. It may feel like you are all alone, but Jesus is in the boat with you: even though you may not be able to see Him, His voice will speak peace to the wind, calming the waves buffeting you. God hears every prayer; He knows what troubles you; God is concerned about you. Jesus said the hairs on your head are numbered, so don't be afraid. God is not deaf, you don't need to shout to be heard. You can speak in the softest whisper and He will hear you. I only live for one thing; I only live to see the Glory of God. I'm not going to die, nor will I grow old and weak, because I live in the Glory of God. I live in the Power of God. I learnt many years ago not to live in my own strength, but to live in the strength and Power of God. One touch from Jesus and all that hinders you will be removed. When Jesus healed the leper in Matthew 8, through that one touch he was cleansed, healed and restored; that one touch removed the stigma and shame of his condition. That one touch brought emotional and physical healing. When Jesus healed the blind man in John 9 with one touch his testimony of "once I was blind but now I can see", changed not only his life, but all those around him. Jesus has power, not just in heaven but on earth. Why do I pray every day? Why do I pray so much? Because God is listening. He hears. He answers. Do you realise how much God loves you? Jesus said to the paralytic, "So that you may know I am the Son of God - that I am not lying or deceiving you; so that you may know the reality and truth of who I am - get up and walk!" Jesus has forgiven every sin: the sins of the past, the sins of today, and the sins of tomorrow. That is the miracle. No wonder Jesus said to the man sick of the palsy, 'Rejoice, your sins are forgiven!' We all have a reason to rejoice: we are forgiven and redeemed; set free from the curse of sin. There is a very narrow gap between life and death; the difference between the two is so small. The Bible says that we walk through the valley of the shadow of death: in life we walk through death, in death we experience life. How do we experience this life? Jesus said He is the resurrection and the life, whoever believes in Him, though he is dead, yet shall he live. 'All will be well' used by kind permission of www.vinesong.com

God identifies with you. The Scripture speaks about taking up your cross and following Jesus - the cross is not just us identifying with Him, but Jesus identifying with us. When I was in prison for Bible smuggling, I felt so abandoned by God. In the Lord's Prayer it says, 'Who is in heaven...', I argued, "You are in heaven, but I am in a stinking filthy cell, don't You understand?" Then God reminded me of the truth: He sent His Son to die a criminal's death. Jesus understood my pain - He identified with my suffering.  'How great Your love' by www.vinesong.com

There comes a time in all our lives when heaven feels shut. We've prayed for deliverance, but the situation never improves, or worse, if there is an answer, God says 'no'. How do we pray in these situations? Through Christ we have received an inheritance; we have obtained this because Jesus died and rose again. What does this mean? It means you can receive the forgiveness of sin; that the curse and the power of the devil is broken; your healing, is part of this inheritance; all the promises in the Bible are part of the inheritance you have received from Jesus.
