Former Albion defenders Andy Rollings and Chris Cattlin joined Ady & Al on stage at the Rialto Theatre in central Brighton back in December for an evening of stories, opinions and tributes. This first show covers Roll & Catt's early days, signed in the 1970s by the club, their take on their fellow pros and managers, right up to the away game at Newcastle which took the Albion to the top division for the first time. Phil Shelley also joined us on stage for his maillot de la semaine.

TV's Mike Ward joined Ady & Al in the Open Market studio ahead to discuss the Watford league match and West Brom FA Cup replay. A small technical hitch in the middle of the show soon brought about a discussion about David Bowie, Mick Ronson and rainbow tank tops on Top of the Pops from 1972. Talking of top tanks, Guy Butters had a natter from his lair in Southampton to offer his opinion on all things Albion - and of course, what makes the perfect English breakfast. Former BBC non-league guru Simon 'Levo' Levenson joined Ady, Al and Andy on a filthy evening in Kemp Town to record this week's show. First up was the West Brom cup game which ended in a stalemate, while also facepalming and ranting about the Fulham game. Watford fan Andy Lewars also joined us ahead of the Premier League match to talk about their season so far. Shirt of the Week was the nicest flock wallpaper you have ever seen.

Marcus 'Sir Rantsalot' Hancocks, and the Brighton & Hove Indy's Steve Bailey came in to talk about the Albion's non appearance on the BBC, Old Trafford and much more besides. Farrell Monk from 'Fulhamish' was also on the show, and the shirt of the week comes from then old East Germany Apologies for some of the sound quality on the Fulham interview.

Our friends Ali Jenkins and Phil Jones visited our Kemp Town studio to discuss starstruck Friend to the Scousers Kevin Friend's appalling behaviour, and the rest of the performance against Liverpool. We also had a discussion about what makes a classic football shirt. So many considerations - including design, colour, material; oooh, loads of things. Shirt of the Week is from the French Riviera.

The Argus' Brian Owen made a return visit to our studio in the Open Market this week, along with long-time absentee Steve Agace. Bournemouth in the FA Cup, a look ahead to the next round, and a preview of the game against Liverpool. Plus we considered how well Nathan Jones would do at Stoke City, having left Luton Town this past week. We also paid tribute to Dan Woods, guitarist in Seagulls Ska.

Ady & Al, for the first show of 2019, welcomed Kay Hutt and John Palfrey to discuss the Everton game, West Ham's tenancy at the Olympic Stadium, and we speculated on Davy Pröpper's first goal for the Albion - whenever that may be. Life-long Albion fan, and club finance officer, and secretary of the Brighton & Hove Albion Collectors' & Historians' Society - Edward David was our guest this week in Kemp Town. We talked about his early days of the Albion in 1963, his early heroes, through to his time in office admin at the Albion while the club was at Withdean and eventually Falmer. We also touched on the Chelsea game, and the ongoing controversies of offside goals against us, and what it takes for a top six side player to get sent off. With the Albion's financial results for 2017/18 published, football finance expert Kieran Maguire cut through the Technicalese and put into plain English many aspects of the year-end report. Phil the Tweeting Seagull was our studio guest, as well as the North Stand Kollective's Anthony Ernesto, who just so happened to wandering through the Open Market while we were on air. Albion fans Simon Maskell and Bradley Stratton were Ady & Al's guests on this week's Roar, purring over victories over Huddersfield and Palace. Much to talk about - red cards, non-red cards, crazy goals, six much-needed points - with only a little gloating. Plus Ady went all gushy talking to his all-time fave Steve Penney about the Palace game, Shane Duffy beating his Brighton international record, and working under Chris Cattlin. A thorough investigation of the Leicester City game, complete with considerations of diving, moody offsides, VAR and Glenn Murray's lust for glory - and more besides. Ady also spoke to Jay Crame of The Eagle Beak website for an honest appraisal of Palace's season so far, ahead of the derby on 4 Dec. Long-term England fan Mark Raven was the guest at the Open Market with Ady & Al to offer his take on Lewis Dunk's England debut, VAR plus Shane Duffy's record-breaking exploits. Al also spoke to much-travelled Albion fan Chris Pobjoy, currently spreading the word of the Albion in South East Asia. Phil's Shirt of the Week comes from northern Italy.

With a free weekend in his schedule, John Baine - aka Attila The Stockbroker - dropped by the studio to talk over the Cardiff game, an offside goal, Stephens' red card, Martin Atkinson's cycloptic refereeing, matches being moved and much more. Phil Shelley's Shirt of the Week is a Turkish delight.

Albion fan, writer and director Warren Dudley was Al's guest in the Kemp Town studio to talk about 'The Bromley Boys' (which he wrote), 'Seaside Town' (which he wrote and directed) and 'Come On You Chickens', as well as the mosaic in Dick's Bar that he and Tim Herbert created. We also spoke to football finance expert Kieran Maguire about the Everton game, and got his opinion on the Der Spiegel story on Manchester City's FFP behaviour. Phil Shelley's Shirt of the Week does not come as the result of any murders.

10 years since the diggers first broke ground, photographer Graeme Rolfe came by the studio to talk about his weekly project which took up his Fridays, and captivated the rest of us, including the story of the Keystone Cops chase down the A23 when the arch turned up. Plus Al spoke to Worthing manager and ex Albion defender Adam Hinshelwood on life at Woodside Road, Glenn Murray and THAT own goal. Phil's Shirt of the Week is hot from Italy.

Albion fans Matt Potter and Louis Myles were Ady & Al's guests live in the Open Market. Newcastle United away, including Glenn Murray's bang on the head, plus the AITC takeover, Peter Brackley and a brief overview of the Football Supporters' Federation meeting with the Premier League. And Louis Myles' film 'Kaiser' is out on DVD, as he previews his next film, based in Italy. Phil Shelley's Shirt of the Week is a sizzler.

Ady & Al caught up with Ian 'Reggie' Goodwin and Peter O'Sullivan - both at the Albion at the time of Clough & Taylor - at Spencer Vignes' book launch, and we have Jared and Russell back for part two of 'A Question of Roar'. Plus... Matt Dorn, head of Albion In The Community keeps us up to speed with what's happening there, as well as having an important announcement, exclusive to the Roar.

Ady & Al were, of course, saddened to hear of the death of supreme commentator, raconteur, writer, broadcaster, mimic - and fellow Albion fan - Peter Brackley. Brackers was on fine form when he came by the old Blackman Street studio in August 2014, in the week where Sami Hyypia's side had just beaten Leeds United 2-0 at Elland Road. We had many wonderful stories from behind the mic from Peter (needless to say the best ones are always told when the mics are off - sorry about that), and his warmth and support for the show were very much appreciated. Here, minus the match reports, is our tribute to Peter Brackley. Enjoy.

In the week when Lewis Dunk became the first Brighton player to be selected for the full England squad since 1982, Ady & Al discuss his rise through the ranks. We spend a good half-hour chatting with former Albion full-back Don Shanks about his career, and how as an 'OAP' (his words) he will be running the New York marathon to raise funds for Stan Bowles and for The Alzheimer's Society. We also have Episode 2, Part 1 of 'A Question of Roar' with Albion fans and happy Quiz victims Jared Evans and Russell Guiver trying to out-knowledge each other on the Albion's history.
