Back in the early 90's Saturday Night Live had a sketch with Dana Carvey playing George Bush Sr. "It wouldn't be prudent...not at this juncture" was a saying he would often use. Prudence is not a term that we use very much. However, scripture uses it. What is it? Do we even want it? Pastor Tom explores this term and how it impacts us.

Matt 7:12 - This week we go over the "Golden Rule." We typically see this as a negative. "Don't take your sister's candy. You don't want her doing that to you do you?" The problem is, the Golden Rule speaks more about doing than not doing. We talk this week about doing the "do."

Matt 7:7-11 Have you ever lost your car keys? This week we talk about turning over the pillows and dumping out the drawers in your life to look for the Kingdom of God.

Jesus would often get away to pray. Even in the height of ministry Jesus would get remove Himself from the crowds and be with His Father. What does it look like for me and you to get away to our wilderness and pray?
