Who determines if you are enough? Someone from your childhood? A spouse? An ex? More often than not we each have an arbitrary value system that differs from everyone else. Further, we can have a different person or thing for each area of our lives. It’s exhausting. Fortunately there is an alternative. Someone that will guide and direct you in the way you were created. And the good news is that it’s based on truth.

In 2 Timothy 3:14-4:5, Paul encourages his student Timothy to hold on the truth of the faith that he has been taught. But there seem to be a lot of people who say that the traditional Christian faith has deeply misunderstood God, Jesus, and the Bible. How can we be sure that we are following Jesus correctly? In this sermon, Pastor Reed talks about how the Christian faith of the early church was preserved in both the Bible and the Christian Creeds.

We were given the 10 commandments as a template of how we should live our life. Jesus takes it a step further by speaking to boundaries for those commandments to give us a foundation how we are to relate to others.

No matter what you are going through there is a good chance that your highest highs and lowest lows have one thing in common. Relationships. A good relationship can be life giving while one bad relationship can ruin your day, year or decade. In this series we explore some skills that help any relationship not only grow, but thrive. In order for us to have healthy, life giving relationships we need to make sure one relationship stays at the forefront. Our relationship with Jesus. This week we talk about why that relationship matters the most and how a healthy relationship with Jesus impacts all the others.

This week as we wrap up our series of Wholehearted, we reflect on the lessons that have been disseminated over the last several weeks about how emotional maturity is important to our spiritual maturity.

One of the sayings we have heard often in our life is that rules were meant to be broken. What does that look like for our spiritual lives? If we have steadfast rules that we live by in step with our Heavenly Father, we stand to live a much more fulfilled life as our Father in heaven would have us live. Today, Pastor John talks about what that looks like according to the book of Daniel.

Today, as we continue our Wholehearted series, we reflect on how our family of origin shapes who we are today. Yet, our Heavenly Father desires to break any chains that hinder us, freeing us to experience a healthier relationship with Him and with others.

We are all called to a ministry by our Heavenly Father—whether it’s something grand on a global scale or as simple as lending a listening ear to a friend. The real question is: are we willing to go when He calls? We begin an 8 week series this week based on the book “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Peter Scazzero. We will be exploring the connection between emotional and spiritual growth, emphasizing the need for self-awareness, boundaries, and deep inner transformation to achieve a mature faith.

This week, we conclude our series by focusing on our mission statement for Living Spring Church. Pastor John shares an inspiring message about the transformative power of responding to the Holy Spirit's guidance. By using our God-given spiritual gifts, we can impact lives in ways beyond what we could ever imagine.

Restoration is such a beautiful concept. The fantastic news, is that our Heavenly Father is in the restoration business. All it takes is for us to surrender those blemishes and scars to Him to turn it into something beautiful. This week, we talk about how He wants to restore the brokenness in our lives to wholeness.

We kick off 2025 talking about our Mission Statement: “With God’s grace and direction Living Spring will REACH our neighborhood and surrounding communities with the love of the Father, RESTORE lives to healthy relationship in the Son, RESPOND to the move of the Spirit." In our culture we spend a lot of time trying to determine who is “in” and who is “out.” This can be exhausting and we mostly get it wrong. People (and life) are more complicated than that. This week we talk about a different criteria that works better. The good news is that Jesus modeled it.

We talked about being “a new creation in Christ” last week. But what about those times when we feel stuck in “old” habits and mindsets? We look at Paul’s presentation of the good news in Colossians to find answers.

We are called to deny ourselves and pick up our crosses. Today, Pastor John talks about how life of newness begins with the “death” of the old self.
